We have an unabiding thirst for seltzer and fizzy drinks. After all, there’s nothing quite like a good old-fashioned sparkling drink to quench your thirst or, as our children like to put it, “We’re thirsty, can we have some soda please?” 

How Home Soda Maker Happened 

HomeSodaMaker was born from our passion for creating healthy carbonated drinks at home from cocktails of natural ingredients and flavors. Our inspiration was our ever-growing, thirsty children who go crazy over fizzy drinks. Our family and friends also agree that DIY fizzy drinks are not only enjoyable but also far superior in taste compared to store-bought options. 

Our mission is simple. We want to share the secrets and joys of crafting delicious fizzy drinks yourself and help you convert from store-bought soda cans to homemade goodness! It’s possible and super simple. It’s also cheaper and eco-friendly. 

Our Inspiration

We came to know about the ugly side of store-bought soda drinks and it was eye-opening. They are not only full of preservatives that can be bad for your health. These single use bottles and cans also pollute the environment to a great extent despite all our efforts of recycling . We realized our seemingly innocent habit of gulping cans and bottles of soda needed to change. We are also acutely aware of the pollution caused by single use plastic water bottles and what is reported to be inside them.

So, we shifted to homemade soda/soft drinks, and alas, it made a huge difference on our wallets and conscience! Throughout the years, we have saved a significant amount of money by carbonating our own water, which has been especially beneficial to our growing, thirsty children. Furthermore, we can confidently say that preparing our own drinks with fresh, healthy, natural ingredients has greatly improved our family’s well-being.
